The Academy for Sustainable Communities (ASC)

The Academy for Sustanable Communities (ASC) is a national centre of excellence that works to promote the skills needed for creating sustainable communities. 

Working in partnership with Miller Research, Fusion Workshop has recently undertaken a project to develop a managed, cms-based online self-assessment tool that will allow this major public sector client to realise a key priority objective for 2007/2008.

Targeted towards sustainable community professionals across a number of public and private sector organisations, the project will allow users to identify generic skill gaps and offer concrete advice on how to bridge them.  The project makes an important contribution to a more integrated approach to the skills and knowledge needed to deliver sustainable communities.
