Fusion Workshop exhibit at SOCITM 2008, Celtic Manor Resort, Newport, South Wales

Fusion Workshop exhibited at the annual SOCITM (Society of Information Technology Management) conference. The event took place 12-14 October and at the Celtic Manor Resort in Newport, South Wales. The theme this year was 'Serving the instant access society' and a number of other topics emerged during the event:

• Web 2.0 and integration
• Green ICT
• Instant access and mobilty

Delegates discussed web-based projects and related matters with Chris Short and other Fusion Workshop staff. Also on show was the Immediacy web CMS from Mediasurface / Alterian. This CMS is currently in use by many Councils and being adopted by others. As Gold Immediacy Partners, Fusion Workshop shared ideas on best practice in CMS intstallation and integration.

Visitors to the stand were offered a free copy of the highly praised reference book: Software Systems Architecture: Working with Stakeholders using Viewpoints and Perspectives, by Nick Rozanski and Eoin Woods.
